According to the latest report released by Jon Peddie Research, in the second quarter of 2025, total global PC GPU shipments reached 74.7 million units. The data shows,Global PC GPU shipments increased by 4.9% year-on-year, with shipments of desktop independent graphics cards increasing by 11%, and shipments of mobile graphics cards increasing by 2.5%.

In terms of market share, both AMD and Intel's market share declined. AMD fell by 2.4% from the previous quarter and Intel fell by 1.9%. At the same time, NVIDIA's market share increased to 24%, an increase of 4.3%.

Although Intel has the largest market share, almost all of its products are core graphics. In the past, the market share of independent graphics was less than 1%. However, AMD has both independent graphics and core graphics. It is difficult to distinguish which one has a larger share.

As for NVIDIA, according to the first quarter of 2025 report, NVIDIA’s share of the independent graphics card market has reached 92%, and it may be higher this quarter.

In addition, in terms of the CPU market, the overall PC CPU market grew by 12.9%, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%, of which AMD's shipments increased by 27%, while Intel only increased by 2%.
