CD Projekt Red learned a lot from Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch, but they managed to come back and create one of the best RPGs ever. Since then, the studio has been on a roll and continues to grow.

Although CDPR has not released any games since 2020, it still generated $121 million in revenue over the past six months. Surprisingly, 60% of that revenue came from Cyberpunk 2077.
According to CDPR’s financial report for the first half of 2025 (January to June), CDPR’s revenue was US$121 million, with a profit margin of 35%. With the launch of Switch 2 on June 5, "Cyberpunk 2077", one of the third-party releases, has been ported to the Switch 2 platform.
Obviously, the porting of "Cyberpunk 2077" to Switch 2 has brought huge revenue to the company. The revenue of "Cyberpunk 2077" is estimated to be US$72.2 million. By comparison, The Witcher franchise only made $17.1 million. In addition to the Switch 2 platform, "Cyberpunk 2077" has also been discounted and promoted on the Steam platform many times, and has been shortlisted for the Steam sales list many times.
Recently, CPDR also confirmed that 75% of the sales of the Switch 2 version of "Cyberpunk 2077" are physical versions, not digital versions.

Interestingly, CDPR predicts that there will still be similar financial results in the second half of 2025, because "Cyberpunk 2077" will be launched on the Apple Mac platform in July this year.
Recently, during the massive layoffs in the game industry, CDPR is still vigorously expanding the company's scale. The current number of employees has reached 1,248, an increase of 99 people. There are 444 people working on "The Witcher 4", while 116 people are working on the "Cyberpunk" sequel, which is expected to be released in 2029-2030.
