There's just over a week left until Apple releases the iPhone 17, which means rumors are going to be rampant. The latest news from tipster Majin Bu on Sunday was the launch of a new line of phone cases on his website. This time, he showed off an iPhone 17 Pro “transparent protective case” design.

The leaked information includes renderings and photos of what appears to be official Apple packaging for the case, which shows it to be a clear iPhone 17 Pro case. Additionally, there is a photo of an iPhone 17 Pro model placed in a protective case.

Details Bu revealed about the case include that its body is “partially transparent,” which is a bit strange for a product that calls itself a “transparent case.” Its outer edges are transparent, as is the area around the camera bump, but the panel covering the lower half of the iPhone's back is a matte opaque white.

The only other marking on the back is the Apple logo, which according to previous rumors is positioned lower than on previously released models. The opaque panel, while it goes against the idea of a "transparent" case, hides the MagSafe magnets embedded within. In many other clear cases made by third-party manufacturers, there will be a noticeable circle where the magnetic ring is located, but the large panel effectively eliminates this visible feature.

Bu also said that the case supports phone lanyards and that seasonal tinted versions may be available.
