Neuralink, Musk's brain-computer interface company, announced on Thursday that it had performed a brain-computer chip implantation surgery for the first time outside the United States. Neuralink's official account on the X platform posted: "We have just completed two surgeries in Canada - our first outside of the United States! This marks an important step in bringing our technology to more people around the world."

Musk retweeted the post and congratulated Neuralink.
