On one of Apple's biggest launch days of the year, Apple officially announced the new generation iPhone 17 series and a series of new hardware products at today's "Awe dropping" event. At the same time, Apple also announced that the iOS 26 operating system will be officially launched to the public on September 15 (Monday).

iOS 26 was first unveiled at the WWDC Developer Conference in June, and after three months of testing, it will soon bring a comprehensive upgrade to the majority of users. The new version will introduce a new "Liquid Glass" interface design, make major updates to many applications such as Apple Wallet, CarPlay, and messaging, and support many iPhone models.

The range of devices supported by iOS 26 includes all iPhone 17 models, iPhone 16/16e series, iPhone 15/14/13/12/11 series, and second-generation and above iPhone SE. However, iPhone XS, XS Max and XR will no longer receive iOS 26 support and will only retain security patch updates.
