At a theme conference held today, Apple officially released a new iPhone series product-iPhone Air. This new product has attracted widespread attention with its extremely slim body and innovative design. The thickness of iPhone Air is only 5.6 mm, making it the thinnest iPhone in Apple’s history.

Its frame is made of polished titanium, and both front and back sides are equipped with second-generation Ceramic Shield protective glass, which is three times more scratch-resistant. The back of the fuselage adopts a new camera module design spanning the full width, adding a unique visual effect to the fuselage.

In terms of screen, iPhone Air is equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED display, supports ProMotion high refresh rate, and has an outdoor peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, setting a new high in iPhone history. The front screen glass uses seven layers of anti-reflective coating to effectively reduce glare and interference, making it still clear and easy to read even in strong light environments.

In terms of imaging system, iPhone Air has a single 48-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 18-megapixel selfie camera that supports the "people-centered" AI function, which can automatically expand the viewing angle and adjust the viewing range according to the number of people in the picture. The square sensor supports four composition ratios and can take horizontal selfies without rotating the phone.

iPhone Air is equipped with the A19 Pro chip, which further improves performance. The communication speed of the built-in C1X communication chip is even higher than that of the iPhone 16 Pro, and the power consumption is 30% lower than the previous generation C1.

It is reported that iPhone Air will replace the existing "Plus" series and be positioned between the standard iPhone 17 and the high-end iPhone 17 Pro.
