On September 18, recently, due to a shortage of yellow lemons, the main raw material, Mixue Bingcheng’s chilled lemonade was out of stock in many places. A store clerk at Mixue Bingcheng in Shanghai said that since last Sunday, the store has been unable to order yellow lemon slices, and it is not yet clear when it will be replenished.

A person familiar with the matter told Sina Finance, "Currently, a large amount of imported lemons are about to arrive in Hong Kong. The stored lemons have also been evaluated to meet the usage standards and are being distributed to stores one after another. The shortage of lemons will soon be restored."

The person familiar with the matter also said that the recent fluctuations in the raw materials of some stores in certain areas of Mixue Bingcheng are due to the recent delay in the arrival of a batch of imported lemons in Hong Kong due to the weather. At the same time, Sichuan and Chongqing lemons have entered the picking period and need to be stored for a period of time to optimize the taste, which has led to tight supply in some areas. However, the overall lemon reserves are very sufficient.

The person familiar with the matter said that Mixue Bingcheng has been deeply involved in the lemon supply chain for a long time. Through Xuewang Agriculture, it has established stable cooperation in major production areas such as Anyue and Tongnan, and has both order-based procurement and warehousing capabilities. During the surge in domestic lemon prices this year, Mixue Bingcheng’s chilled lemonade did not increase in price.
