According to a copy of the email disclosed by a person familiar with the matter, Musk wrote in the email: "The deadline is Thursday at noon."
Musk has been known to make such demands of employees at various companies and agencies he leads throughout his career, most recently requiring U.S. government employees to submit weekly reports when he led the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).
