On September 19, Bawang Cha Ji Qinghai’s first silent store officially opened at Haihu Wanda Plaza in Chengxi District, Xining City. What’s special about Bawang Cha Ji’s silent store is that the important positions in the store are held by hearing-impaired partners.
Since Bawang Tea Ji's first silent store opened in Hangzhou in January 2024, the silent store model has gradually spread across the country, opening successively in Shanghai, Wuhan, Lanzhou, Guangdong, Changsha, Nanchang and other places. Currently, there are more than ten stores.
As Bawangchaji explores a new store model that combines social responsibility and business, the store logo of the silent store uses sign language elements, using six sign language gestures to express "CHAGEE". Commonly used sign language prompts such as "Hello, Welcome, Dine-in, Take-out" are installed in the ordering area and service area to facilitate consumers to communicate with silent partners.
At the same time, the store provides a variety of ordering methods, including mini programs, handwriting pads and sign language menus.
