Developer Mojang is once again offering paid DLC packs for players of its popular sandbox game William and Warcraft (Minecraft). It's based on one of the biggest movie franchises of all time, and more specifically on the last two movies in the series.

The Mojang website offers details about Jurassic World Adventures, a game based largely on the films Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominick. In both films, genetically reanimated dinosaurs have escaped their South American islands and are now in other parts of the world.

The official website of "Minecraft" reads:

Play as Dr. Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Claire Dearing, Kyra Watts or Owen Grady as you embark on missions in iconic locations to study these docile and tame behemoths, rescue illegally captured dinosaurs, and try not to get eaten. Your job is to study dinosaurs, so naturally you also have to save them from poachers and evil scientists, and digging for fossils in the game map is about to come in handy!

The DLC pack also allows players to drive new vehicles such as off-road jeeps and motorcycles in an effort to keep the dinosaurs safe, and you may also need to travel to some familiar locations from the Jurassic World movies to research.

The "Jurassic World Adventure" DLC package is currently available for purchase on MinecraftMarketplace for 1,510 Minecraft Coins, which is approximately $8.77.

In the near future, the "Jurassic Park/World" film series will continue to be adapted into games. At the Game Awards a few days ago, Saber Interactive announced that the game "Jurassic World: Survival" will be set after the events of the original 1993 "Jurassic Park" movie. The story will revolve around an InGen scientist who is trapped on Isla Nublar. He must find a way to leave the island, otherwise he will be eaten by various dinosaurs on the island. The work has not yet determined a release date.
