The award ceremony for the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and Economics was held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.This year's Nobel Prize in Physics was won by Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Kraus and Anne Lullier; the Chemistry Prize was awarded to Mongi Bavandi, Louis Bruce and Alexey Yekimov; the Physiology or Medicine Prize was awarded to Katalin Corico and Drew Weisman; the Economics Prize was won by American economist Claudia Golding; the Literature Prize was awarded to Norwegian writer Jorn Fosse.
After representatives of the selection committee introduced the achievements of the winners,King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden awards Nobel Prize certificates, medals and cash prizes to each winner. The prize money for each Nobel Prize this year is 11 million Swedish krona (approximately US$1 million).
More than a thousand people, including key members of the Swedish royal family and political leaders, attended the award ceremony.
