Today, Luobo Kuaipao has reached a strategic cooperation with PostBus, a subsidiary of Swiss Post, to launch the self-driving travel service "AmiGo" in Switzerland.According to the plan, Luobo Kuaipao will launch preliminary fleet testing in the cantons of St. Gallen, Appenzell Outer and Appenzell Inner in eastern Switzerland in December this year, and plans to achieve routine and fully driverless operations as soon as possible.
At that time, passengers can reserve a vehicle through the mobile app and enjoy exclusive or shared ride services for up to four people.
Luobo Kuaipao has customized the Luobo Kuaipao sixth-generation driverless car for AmiGo. This model can accommodate four passengers and uses a detachable steering wheel design to prepare for fully unmanned operations in the future.
In terms of safety, Luobo Kuaipao’s sixth-generation unmanned vehicle applies the “Apollo ADFM large model + hardware product + security architecture” full-stack solution.Through 10 layers of safety redundancy and 6 layers of MRC safety strategies, it provides passengers with a safe and reliable travel experience.
In areas where travel demand is dispersed, AmiGo will focus on filling the service gaps of traditional fixed-point buses. For example, AmiGo will be located in eastern Switzerland on the shores of Lake Constance and in the foothills of the Alps.
As of August, Luobo Kuaipao has provided more than 14 million services, with a safe driving mileage of more than 200 million kilometers, and has traveled to 16 cities around the world, including Hong Kong, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
