The core content focuses on three major scenarios:
First, promote the interoperability of applications and services, support users to conveniently switch services between different platforms, and prohibit users from using legal and compliant third-party services without legitimate reasons;
The second is to take security as the bottom line and promote the identification and access of external links;
The third is to gradually promote data interoperability, follow the principle of minimum necessity, and collect and use it within the scope of authorization or permitted by laws and regulations.
In addition, the Convention emphasizes the protection of users’ rights to know, choose and privacy, clarifies that users have the right to choose to turn off interoperability functions, and requires platforms to establish and improve data security management systems, set up convenient complaint feedback channels, and maintain a fair competitive market environment.
