At 11:55 on October 26, the Long March 3B carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, accurately sending the Gaofen 14-02 satellite into the predetermined orbit. The launch mission was a complete success.Since the Gaofen-14 satellite is relatively tall,This launch used a Changsan-B rocket modified to a fifth configuration, with a 4.2-meter-diameter extended fairing and a total arrow length of 58 meters. It is the tallest member of the Changsan-A series launch vehicle family.

After the successful first flight of this configuration on December 6, 2020, it was the Gaofen 14th 01 star that was launched at that time. This was the second time that the two had joined forces in nearly five years.

At present, the Changsanyi rocket has a rich sub-configuration, which can launch satellites of different sizes and orbits, and can also be paired with upper stages.

It is worth mentioning thatThe Changsha 3A series rocket is also the first launch vehicle in China to achieve dual-station cross-parallel testing, final assembly and testing.

This year, the model team completed the construction of a new generation of universal ground measurement and launch control systems for two workstations, achieving efficient connection between the two missions.

Speaking of big rockets, we cannot fail to mention the Long March 5.

At 22:30 on October 23, the Long March 5 carrier rocket ignited and took off from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China, successfully launching the huge communication technology test satellite No. 20.

Communication technology test satellite No. 20 is mainly used to carry out multi-band, high-speed satellite communication technology verification.

This Chang 5 rocket uses a fairing with a diameter of 5.2 meters and a height of 18.5 meters. It will fly for the first time on December 15, 2023. It can better adapt to the development needs of my country's large satellite platforms and further enhance the rocket's ability to perform diverse tasks.

This rocket has implemented more than 40 technical status improvements.

This is the 602nd and 603rd flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
