This is the first time in five years that India has resumed issuing tourist visas to Chinese citizens since the suspension in 2020. Previously, India also had restrictions on Chinese citizens’ business visas to India, which have recently been relaxed to a certain extent. After the news was released, searches for India on many online travel platforms increased rapidly.
Of course, it is also difficult to get an Indian visa. One of the hard conditions is: a bank guarantee with a minimum amount of RMB 1 million or a bank statement of the past 6 months showing a minimum amount of RMB 1 million.
