The Compact Fusion Energy Experimental Device (Burning Experimental Superconducting Tokamak, BEST) is a combustion plasma physics experimental device.Adopting the technical route of compact high-field superconducting tokamak, and using new technologies such as high-performance superconducting magnets, high-power neutral beam heating, and deuterium-tritium fusion fuel, it will be the first time in the world to verify that fusion can achieve net output energy in a real fuel environment and demonstrate nuclear fusion power generation.
