According to industry sources, Samsung Electronics will showcase its new tri-folding screen smartphone on the sidelines of this week’s APEC CEO Summit. Sources said that Samsung Electronics will participate in the "K-Tech Exhibition" for the first time to showcase its latest products such as tri-folding screen smartphones.

However, this new product will only be displayed in a glass display case, and specific specifications are expected to be announced at the end of November or early December.

The new model is designed to fold in three parts, offering a tablet-sized display when fully unfolded and maintaining the portability of a standard smartphone when closed.

Considering that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 released in July this year is priced at 2.37 million won (256G version) in South Korea, the price of Samsung's three-fold screen smartphone is estimated to be more than 3 million won (approximately US$2,090).

The APEC CEO Summit brings together about 1,700 participants from APEC member countries and global enterprises to discuss major economic issues such as artificial intelligence and energy transition. The summit will be held in Gyeongju, a city in southeastern South Korea.
