On October 28, DxOMark announced the screen scores of the iPhone 17 series. iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 all scored 151 points in the DXOMARK screen test and passed the Eye Comfort Label eye protection certification. However, judging from the overall ranking, this time the results did not rank in the top 20, and the competition between various screens was particularly fierce.

Regarding the screens of the iPhone 17 series, the highlights given by DxOMark are: 1. The touch response has been significantly improved, and sliding/clicking is more responsive; 2. After turning off the original color, the colors are accurate and the imaging consistency is good; 3. Outdoor readability is enhanced: peak brightness increased + low reflectivity; 4. 480Hz PWM+ optional low-frequency alternative mode, passed eye protection certification. However, it should be noted that when automatic brightness is turned on in a low-light environment, the default brightness is low, which may affect viewing comfort. It is recommended that users manually adjust the brightness. Overall, whether it is watching TV series, playing games or daily use, the entire iPhone 17 series has achieved a more balanced performance between display performance and eye protection mechanism.

The top five in the current DxOMark screen test list are Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, Google Pixel 10, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Google Pixel 9 Pro, which are almost contracted by Google. However, looking at the complete list, we can also find that many new products of domestic brands have not participated in the test, especially the new flagship products released in the second half of the year. If they did, the list may also undergo subtle changes.
