Today, Douyin’s e-commerce security and trust center issued an article on its official Weibo account saying,Douyin e-commerce will remove illegal service providers such as Zhongtong Cold Chain, Jishida, Shuiqudaojia, and Railway Express on October 29., and requires merchants and logistics providers to strictly abide by platform specifications.

Next, Douyin e-commerce will continue to resolutely crack down on false shipments, illegal transfer orders, and track fraud.

Li Liang, vice president of Douyin Group, forwarded the article and said,Recently, we discovered that some unscrupulous logistics service providers deceive users through "false waybills" and seriously infringe on consumer rights.

These logistics companies cooperate with merchants to use third-party electronic receipts to "transfer orders" and "track the tracks." The package looks normal in the system, but in reality it is not delivered.

Li Liang said,For ordinary consumers, such an illusion delays or even fails to receive the goods. It also makes it more difficult to safeguard their rights, and the fair transaction order is quietly undermined.

It is understood that Douyin also reminds logistics companies that if they find false behaviors such as transfer orders and track splicing, the platform will implement rectification and removal within a time limit based on the seriousness of the situation.
