Apple's market capitalization exceeded US$4 trillion, becoming the third listed company to reach this figure after Nvidia and Microsoft. According to reports, Apple’s market value once exceeded US$4 trillion in early trading on October 28, Pacific Time in the United States. Previously, Nvidia took the lead in breaking through this market value in July this year and is approaching the US$5 trillion mark; Microsoft also reached a market value of US$4 trillion in the same month, although it subsequently dropped slightly to 3.9 trillion, it also exceeded US$4 trillion again today.

Market capitalization is calculated based on the total value of all Apple's outstanding shares. Since Apple will announce its financial report for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025 on Thursday (October 30), the specific total number of shares still needs to wait for official data, so the current market value data is still an estimate.

Apple became the world's first company with a market value of over US$3 trillion in January 2022. But in the subsequent boom in global chip demand, Apple failed to catch up with Nvidia's development speed.

Except for Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft, no other public company currently has a market value approaching US$4 trillion. Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has a market value of US$3.25 trillion, Amazon is US$2.42 trillion, and Meta is US$1.90 trillion.

Since the launch of the iPhone 17 series in September this year, Apple's stock has continued to rise, mainly benefiting from strong market demand for new models.
