Musk once again attacked MacKenzie Scott, the American philanthropist and ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, when responding to netizen posts on social platforms, calling her "the face you saw before the collapse of Western civilization."
“If you look at the shaky policies that are destroying blue cities, you’ll see that it’s directly attributable to the rapidly growing nonprofit industrial complex,” one person posted, referring to the various nonprofits in the United States to which Mackenzie Scott has donated heavily.
Another netizen commented: "This woman almost single-handedly destroyed this country, but you barely hear a single word about her because she is not Jewish."
Musk responded: "The faces you saw before the collapse of Western civilization."
In March 2024, Musk criticized Scott in a post on
One X user posted at the time: "Who does Bezos' ex-wife give her money to? According to her foundation website, more than half of the organizations she has donated to so far deal with issues of race and/or gender. Her fund should be called the AWFL (Affluent White Women Libertarians) Fund. It's the ultimate expression of ambition from the worst group in America."
Musk commented: “The ‘super-rich ex-wife who hates her ex-husband’ should be listed as one of the reasons for the demise of Western civilization.”
But Musk later deleted the post.
