Sean Murray, the studio director of HelloGames, the developer of "No Man's Sky", announced the new game "Light No Fire" at the TGA Annual Game Awards Ceremony on December 8. He received a warning from many players: Sean, remember not to brag again this time! Even the official Twitter of "Cyberpunk 2077" joked: "Don't worry, you can fix the problem later," implying that both games have been constantly patched to complete the counterattack since their release.
Obviously, if you make a mistake once, players can be forgiven by you, but if you make a mistake knowingly and deliberately, you can't do it again. But HelloGames is still ambitious for the new "LightNoFire" game. The game no longer promises a "real universe," but it does recreate an entire Earth-like planet. According to him, the game includes many climbable mountains, including some that are "miles high, higher than Mount Everest."
Sean Murray explained at the TGA awards ceremony: "In "No Man's Sky", we generated a universe composed of sparse alien planets, which is not easy. Although it is difficult, we want to do something harder." This is "Light No Fire", this game will generate the "first true open world" in the history of games, a fantasy planet that is "larger than the Earth" and has "no boundaries".
"LightNoFire" will allow players to explore unknown terrain with a group of friends, occasionally discovering small towns full of NPCs along the way, or capture flying mounts for easier transportation and movement.
Murray is very excited about the mountains in the game: "About mountains. Real mountains, not the mountains in the game, but mountains several miles high, higher than Mount Everest, and when you climb to the top and look out, you can see rivers, canyons and continents." It is said that climbing alone can take several hours on foot.
Murray also said that HelloGames hopes to continue adding more content to the game in the next ten years like "No Man's Sky". "This is a game that I hope will be updated in ten years," he said, adding that he has been working on the game for five years with 12 other developers.
