The "Lightfish" unmanned surface vehicle (USV) of the American Seasats company was attacked by a shark last month. Recently, relevant footage was exposed. It is reported that at 9:38 a.m. that day,The drone operating off the coast of California recorded a sudden impact, causing the vessel to tilt slightly and causing a splash to fall on the deck..

A sensor detected water intrusion into the hull, started the bilge pump and triggered an alarm. After receiving the alarm, the staff operating the unmanned surface vehicle remotely commanded the unmanned surface vehicle to return home.
About two hours later, the company recovered the unmanned boat,Inspection revealed four huge scratches on the side, leading to perforations.A larger hole appeared in the bottom of the boat, allowing seawater to pour in.
Investigators believe the accident was caused by a shark attack, and it was their sharp teeth that damaged the hull.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the company’s products have been attacked by sharks.Previously, the company's unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) clearly captured the attack process., I saw the shark suddenly opened its bloody mouth and rushed out from below to bite it. It really felt like the horror movie "Jaws".
