In response to the spontaneous combustion of a MEGA on the street in Shanghai on October 23, Li Auto today responded. Li Auto decided to implement a voluntary recall and stated that "Li Auto hopes to ensure that spontaneous combustion accidents will no longer occur in all models in the future."

Tonight, "Tango", the head of Li Auto's product line, announced more details about this recall.

He said,One piece of information that may surprise everyone is that when we made the recall decision, Li Xiang did not actually attend our meeting.

"Old Tang Brother Tango" bluntly said: "We also have no fear in saying that he disagrees with the recall because we all know that the safety of a family is priceless."

Even company president Ma Ge specially reminded everyone that before making a decision, don’t look at how much it will cost, whether it is 1 billion or 2 billion. First, look at whether it is in line with our values. If so, then think about how to do it as quickly as possible to solve the user’s problem.

Then everyone quickly reached a consensus, recalled it, and pushed forward as quickly as possible.

Then, last Sunday night, the Li Auto team completed the preparation of materials for the recall and officially launched the application on Monday this week.

The recall plan has now been implemented: starting from November 7, car owners will be invited to the store according to the order of delivery, and the coolant, power battery and front motor controller will be replaced free of charge. The construction of a single car only takes one day.

At the same time, vehicles can enjoy an extended warranty of power batteries to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers, and the Lianshan cloud system will also optimize early warning strategies to avoid risks in advance.
