T1 Phone 8002 (Gold Edition), the so-called “Trump Phone,” failed to launch on the promised date. The T1 is a gold, midrange Android phone that launched in June with Trump Mobile's $47-per-month wireless plan. The Trump Organization promised in a press release that the phone would launch in August, but on its website it said it would launch in September. An unnamed spokesperson later told USA Today that the release had been pushed back to October.

It’s already November, and Trump Mobile is unusually quiet—it hasn’t even posted anything on social media since August 28. For months, the store page only promised that the phone would arrive "later this year," making this change just as Trump Mobile stopped claiming the T1 would be made in the United States.
The report notes that this means the company still has two months to launch the phone and can still "pretend" it will arrive on time.
