According to CCTV Finance, recently, Microsoft CEO Nadella publicly stated that the company may restart recruitment within the next year, but the premise is that existing employees must learn new working models that collaborate with artificial intelligence.

He stressed that it would start with a radical change in the way existing employees work, a process he summarized as "unlearning" and relearning.
Specifically, "forgetting" means eliminating inefficient old habits and thinking patterns, and repetitive tasks will be handed over to AI tools to complete;
Relearning is about mastering new skills for collaboration with AI. For example, employees need to learn how to give precise instructions to AI, how to review and optimize the results output to AI, and devote more energy to strategic decision-making, creative conception, and solving complex problems.
Nadella emphasized that Microsoft will ensure that employees comprehensively assess and learn the company's AI tools to complete the upgrade of this model. After completing the upgrade, the company will complete the orientation and recruit new employees based on the needs of the existing team.
It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has been betting heavily on AI in the past year and has conducted multiple rounds of layoffs. The most recent one was in July this year, when it laid off about 9,000 employees. The company currently has 219,000 employees.
