The United States has imposed export controls on NVIDIA's most advanced AI chips to China in an attempt to curb China's technological development, but NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is still concerned about the Chinese market. In a recent interview, Huang Renxun expressed the hope that relations between China and the United States will improve and NVIDIA will have the opportunity to return to the Chinese market.

Huang Renxun claimed that during Trump's first term, American technology companies could enter markets such as China and compete, which would help American companies set "American standards" for technology, allowing the United States to "lead the world."

However, in recent years, the U.S. government has increased export restrictions, forcing U.S. chip manufacturers to withdraw from the Chinese market.

Huang Renxun emphasized that the United States underestimated China’s potential to develop the technology industry. Now China can completely rely on its own industries and no longer relies on American technology."China can now produce millions of AI chips. It is obvious that they are not dependent on American technology now. In fact, China no longer needs us to return to the Chinese market."

Also on October 31, Huang Renxun said in a speech in South Korea that NVIDIA originally hoped to gain "a certain market share" in China, but now expects the market share to be zero.

He believes that the so-called "national security concerns" of the United States are unreasonable, because China's independently produced AI chips can fully meet its application needs.
