Samsung's upcoming trifold Galaxy Z TriFold has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG Bluetooth certification database, with five models: SM-D6390, SM-D639N, SM-D639U, SM-D639U1, and SM-D639B.Different models should represent different markets, which means that Samsung's three-fold will be available in more markets besides China and South Korea.

Last week, Samsung had already exhibited this mobile phone in South Korea in advance. Although it was placed in a glass cover and could not be used, what is certain is that,The phone adopts a G-shaped folding scheme. The screen is divided into three parts, and the left and right screens are folded towards the middle screen. This is obviously different from the Z-shaped folding method of Huawei Mate XT Extraordinary Master.

The G-shaped solution can protect the screen inside the fuselage after folding, which is relatively safer and more stable, but it requires an additional external screen to assist daily use.

In addition, Huawei's Z-shaped display can have three forms: single screen, dual screen, or triple screen, which can be freely switched according to needs, while the G-shaped display can only switch between single screen and triple screen.

The thickness of Galaxy Z TriFold is 4.2mm when unfolded and 1.2cm-1.5cm when folded, and the creases are almost invisible.

The outer screen size is 6.5 inches and the inner screen size is 10 inches.

This new product will be officially released this month, and analysts predict that its price may be around US$2,800, or approximately RMB 19,900.

For comparison, Huawei’s new Mate XTs this year is priced from 17,999 yuan.
