According to reports,Xpeng Huitian flying car mass production factory started trial production on November 3 and successfully rolled off the production line of the first "land aircraft carrier" aircraft, marking the completion of the world's first flying car mass production line.
According to reports, the aircraft produced in this round of trial production will be used for test flights to further verify product performance and technology, laying the foundation for the delivery of "land aircraft carriers" next year.
The factory has a construction area of about 120,000 square meters and is mainly used for the production of split-type flying cars "land aircraft carriers".The planned annual production capacity is 10,000 vehicles, with an initial annual production capacity of 5,000 vehicles. This is also the world's first flying car manufacturing factory with an annual production capacity of "10,000 vehicles".
Xiaopeng Huitian said that under full production, the production line can roll off one aircraft every 30 minutes. The factory pioneered the introduction of the assembly line of the automobile industry into the aviation field, achieving a leap in scale, efficiency and quality consistency.
It is understood that the "land aircraft carrier", the world's first mass-produced split flying car, adopts a "land + aircraft" split design. The land vehicle is also called the land "mothership". It adopts a three-axle and six-wheel design, which can achieve 6 x 6 all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering. It can be used independently to meet daily commuting needs on urban roads.
Equipped with a global 800V silicon carbide high-voltage range extension platform,It has a cruising range of over 1,000 kilometers and can charge the aircraft while driving and parking, supporting 5-6 flights.
The manned aircraft has an electric six-rotor double-duct configuration. The main structure of the fuselage and blades are made of carbon fiber materials, taking into account high strength and lightweight. The 270° panoramic cockpit provides a broad flight field of view.
After the aircraft lands, the land vehicle completes precise docking with the flying body through the autopilot function and opening and closing mechanism.
In terms of driving qualifications, a C license allows you to drive a "land aircraft carrier" on the ground. It is not only the only car in the world that can hold an "aircraft", but also the only two-seater aircraft in the world that can be loaded into the trunk of a car. The price of a single unit is no more than 2 million yuan.
At present, Xpeng Huitian has received a total of 7,000 orders for its land aircraft carriers.
