Google announced on November 3 that it would cooperate with Florida State University and Arkansas to expand the "AI Education Accelerator" program to provide free AI training and skills certificates to students and professionals across the United States. Florida State University will be the first to launch the "Google People Management Essentials" certificate course, which is an eight-hour self-study course that uses AI tools such as Gemini and NotebookLM to train leadership skills such as goal setting, project planning, and communication management.

At the same time, the Arkansas Department of Commerce has cooperated with Google to provide free online training to residents over the age of 18, covering five-hour AI modules such as Google AI Essentials and Prompting Essentials, teaching prompt word engineering and the use of AI. Residents can also obtain free certificates in popular skills such as cybersecurity, data analysis, IT support, and digital marketing.

Similar cooperation is spreading in many states. Oklahoma, Tennessee, Maryland, and North Carolina have all launched corresponding plans, and more than a hundred colleges and universities have joined the Google AI education system. This is an important implementation of Google’s $1 billion AI education plan announced in August this year.
