China and Myanmar are continuing to vigorously crack down on large-scale telecommunications fraud from Myanmar. However, the temptation to commit fraud is too strong and various gangs are deeply rooted. There are still many people who "continue to commit fraud".From the beginning of September to the present, the Myanmar National Defense Force has continued to carry out anti-telecom fraud operations on the Myanmar side of the Myanmar-Thailand border. In the KK Park in Myawaddy, they seized 30 sets of Starlink satellite receivers and accessories, searched more than 100 buildings, and found 2,198 people involved in fraud and gambling.

Myawaddy, Karen State in eastern Myanmar, is a small city located on the border of Thailand and Myanmar, separated from Thailand by only the Moai River.
Since around 2020, a large number of so-called "parks" have rapidly emerged here, becoming the hardest hit area for telecommunications fraud.
Satellite images show that from February 2014 to October 2019, the Myawaddy area has always been farmland.
In 2021, clusters of neatly arranged prefabricated houses began to appear, and they have expanded at an extremely rapid rate since then.
By August 2023, in less than 2 years, the size of the KK Park has tripled, and the rows of buildings with staggered heights are particularly eye-catching among the surrounding farmland and bungalows.
In fact, in February this year, the Thai government had cut off the power, fuel supply and Internet connections at five park points on the Thailand-Myanmar border. However, in fact, the scale of the KK park has not decreased but increased, and there are still buildings under construction in September.

It can be seen from satellite images and aerial photos that the houses in KK Park are not high-rise, mostly 5-6 floors, and there is a suspected Buddha statue in the middle.
There are at least two layers of fences inside and outside the park. There are sentries at regular intervals along the outer wall, guarded by armed personnel. There are also two layers of sentry posts at the entrance of the park.
There are office buildings, dormitories, logistics warehouses, and a large number of entertainment venues inside the park, including basketball courts, libraries, supermarkets, KTVs, restaurants, hotels, etc. It is said that consumer prices are very high.
There are also several large parking lots in the park.Luxury cars abound.

In fact, there is more than one such park in Myawaddy, there are seven or eight along the river, and they are still expanding.
According to Thai media reports, just recently, local villagers in Myawaddy have witnessed the transfer of a large number of foreign practitioners and senior managers, and at least a dozen fraud parks in the surrounding area are still operating as usual.
