According to CCTV reports on November 4, in response to the recent high attention from all walks of life on the progress of consultations on Nexperia, the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said today that the Dutch government issued an administrative order on September 30 and improperly interfered in the internal affairs of Nexperia. Subsequently, the Dutch Enterprise Court made a wrong ruling to deprive the Chinese company of its equity, which seriously infringed on the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.
Since then, the Dutch government has ignored China's reasonable demands made many times during consultations, failed to show a constructive attitude and action, and escalated the global supply chain crisis.Nexperia (Netherlands) announced on October 26 that it would stop supplying wafers to Nexperia (China), causing the latter to be unable to produce normally, causing turmoil and chaos in the global semiconductor industry supply chain. The Dutch side should bear full responsibility for this.
In line with China’s responsible attitude toward the stability and security of the global semiconductor industry and supply chain, ChinaAnnounced on November 1 that it would exempt qualified exports and work hard to promote the resumption of supply by Allanshi (China).
However, the Dutch side continues to insist on its own way and has taken no practical actions to solve the problem, which will inevitably deepen the negative impact on the global semiconductor supply chain. This is what China and the global industry do not want to see.
China hopes that from the perspective of safeguarding the overall economic and trade relations between China and the Netherlands and China and Europe and the stability and security of the production and supply chain, the Netherlands will meet China halfway in a responsible manner, stop interfering in the internal affairs of companies, and find a constructive solution to the Nexperia issue.
At the same time, China will firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and strive to stabilize the global semiconductor supply chain.

In the early morning of November 2, Nexperia China Co., Ltd. issued "Nexperia China Announcement Letter to Customers 20251101".The announcement letter stated that Nexperia of the Netherlands has unilaterally decided to stop supplying wafers to the packaging and testing factory (ATGD) in Dongguan starting from October 26, 2025.
In a letter to customers, Nexperia claimed that the move was a direct result of what it called "the recent failure of local management to comply with agreed contractual payment terms."
Allianz China said: "The above remarks are confusing and extremely misleading. We are extremely shocked and strongly opposed to this."
The announcement letter pointed out that Nexperia's claim that "the local management has recently failed to comply with the agreed payment terms of the contract" was completely fabricated and maliciously smeared the management of Nexperia China. There is no breach of contract by Nexperia China. On the contrary, Nexperia of the Netherlands currently owes ATGD as much as 1 billion yuan in payment.
Nexperia China also emphasized that currently, Nexperia China has established sufficient inventory of finished products and work-in-progress, which can stably and continuously meet the order needs of our customers until the end of the year or even longer, and the supply chain is safe and reliable.
To ensure long-term supply and resilience, we have actively launched multiple plans and are stepping up efforts to verify new wafer production capacity. We are confident that we can complete the validation in the short term and seamlessly meet all customer needs starting next year.
