The competition for the overclocking world record of DDR5 memory has become fierce, and overclocking enthusiasts are breaking each other's records at an alarming rate. After Sergmann took the lead in breaking the 13,000MT/s mark last month, the pace of the overclocking competition has accelerated significantly, and the record-breaking time is now even as short as 24 hours.

Just the day before yesterday, overclocking expert Hicookie had just set a new record with a score of 13034MT/s, but was immediately surpassed by CENS with a slight advantage of 13040MT/s.But now the record has been broken again, with overclocking player Saltycroissant achieving an astonishing 13153MT/s.

Saltycroissant uses a 24 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory stick, paired with a GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Tachyon ICE motherboard and Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPU, successfully pushing the memory frequency to a new height.

The final result reached an astonishing 13153MT/s, which not only broke Hicookie's record, but also achieved a huge leap of nearly 119MT/s, becoming the first overclocking player to break the 13100MT/s mark.

Of course, this extremely high memory frequency must be accompanied by higher timing. According to CPU-Z’s verification, this record-breaking memory timing setting is similar to the previous world record, which is CL68-127-127-127-2.

However, overclocking to this level is more of a hobby to demonstrate the limits of technology rather than pursuing the best performance for daily use.
