Following the global box office hit "Super Mario Bros. Movie" in 2023, Nintendo's movie business is continuing to flourish. Since then, officials have successively announced plans for a live-action "The Legend of Zelda" movie, and recently announced "Super Mario Galaxy Movie" (the sequel to the animated film "Super Mario Bros. Movie"). At the same time, the two subsidiaries of Nintendo Pictures and Nintendo Stars are also assisting in the expansion of video and film content. Current director Shigeru Miyamoto is also deeply involved in the production of current film projects.

In Nintendo's recent financial report briefing, they revealed through a simple chart that more projects are in preparation, with the goal of establishing a "sustained and stable rhythm of movie releases": "Following the launch of "Super Mario Bros. Movie" in 2023, we have determined that "Super Mario Galaxy Movie" will be released in 2026, and plan to launch a live-action "Legend of Zelda" movie in 2027. We are continuing to prepare for a stable output of future series of movies."
As shown in the picture, it is expected that more Nintendo IPs will land on the big screen in the future. Which one are you most looking forward to?
