On Wednesday local time, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said in an interview on the sidelines of the Financial Times' AI Future Summit: "China will win the artificial intelligence race." Huang Jen-Hsun said he attributed China's potential victory to a more favorable regulatory environment and lower energy costs.

Huang also criticized Western approaches, calling it "cynicism" that hinders progress, and said "we need more optimism."
China’s data centers benefit from massive energy subsidies, making it easier for Chinese tech companies to afford the operating expenses of their artificial intelligence technology. This is in stark contrast to the United States, where regulatory constraints loom.
Huang Renxun pointed out that the new AI regulations in various states in the United States may produce "50 new regulations", which may stifle innovation and competition in artificial intelligence.
