At Tesla’s annual shareholder meeting,Elon Musk systematically elaborated on the company's strategic plans in humanoid robots, autonomous driving, chip R&D and production expansion, and updated the corporate mission, showing a clear path to transform technological visions into practical applications.Musk pointed out,With the development of brain-computer interface technologies such as Neuralink, humans are expected to upload "snapshots" of consciousness to Tesla humanoid robots within 20 years, giving them humanoid consciousness.

Humanoid robots will be deployed in construction missions for bases on the moon and Mars, and Tesla's models (such as the Cybercross SUV) can also be transformed into extraterrestrial exploration vehicles to jointly support interstellar exploration plans.

In terms of production capacity planning, Musk emphasized that the robot production line will launch "the fastest production ramp-up of any large-scale complex manufacturing product in history." The first production line with an annual output of 1 million units will be built at the Fremont factory, and the annual production capacity will be further increased to 10 million units at the Texas factory. The humanoid robot is expected to start mass production next year, and after achieving an annual production scale of 1 million units, the cost of a single unit will be controlled at about US$20,000.

In terms of technology iteration, the 2.5th-generation humanoid robot is currently on display, and the third-generation product will be put into production next year. The robot will adopt an annual release mechanism, with significant upgrades in each generation. The fourth and fifth generations are planned to be launched in 2027 and 2028 respectively.

Musk further explained that Tesla has overcome three major technical bottlenecks: complex hand engineering, real-world AI systems, and large-scale mass production. The humanoid robot is essentially an "intelligent vehicle with limbs" that reuses Tesla's mature technology systems in the fields of batteries, motors and artificial intelligence to achieve cross-platform technology integration.

Musk believes that humanoid robots will completely eliminate poverty, provide medical services that surpass the accuracy of human surgeons, and achieve "sustainable universal prosperity." The economic effects it brings may push the scale of the global economy to increase by 10 to 100 times. Even in the future, energy units such as "Watt" may replace currency and become the new standard for measuring wealth.
