On the latest third-quarter earnings call,AMD CEO Su Zifeng revealed that following the cooperation with OpenAI that is expected to bring huge revenue, there are currently many customers hoping to establish partnerships of similar scale with AMD.In response to questions about "the impact of OpenAI cooperation on market position" and "customer concentration risk", Su Zifeng said:

"The collaboration with OpenAI is significant and has increased interest and engagement from other customers. We are planning to work with multiple customers of similar size to OpenAI to ensure a broad customer base and thereby mitigate customer concentration risk."
AMD's deal with OpenAI is expected to generate $100 billion in revenue, which also means AMD is gaining widespread attention from the mainstream artificial intelligence industry.
AMD is also "doubling down" on AI chips such as Instinct MI450, not only improving the architecture, but also continuing to make efforts in energy efficiency and rack-level configuration.
Su Zifeng also revealed the launch schedule of the next generation AI chip. The Instinct MI355 series has begun to increase production, and the strong momentum will continue until 2026; the Instinct MI450 series is expected to be launched on the market in the second half of next year.
According to AMD executives’ previous statements, the MI450 series will be a critical moment in AMD’s AI journey and is expected to close the gap with NVIDIA products and bring AMD’s data center and AI business into the mainstream market segment.
In addition, Su Zifeng also confirmed at the financial report conference that AMD has obtained an export license for the MI308 AI chip to China. The official parameters of MI308 have not yet been announced, but the industry generally speculates that its performance specifications will be close to NVIDIA H20.
