Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said he has asked TSMC to increase chip supply as demand for artificial intelligence (AI) remains strong. "Business is very strong, and it's growing and getting stronger every month," Huang told reporters while attending the TSMC annual sports meeting in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

He said on Saturday that Nvidia's three AI memory chip suppliers - SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics and Micron Technology - have increased "huge production capacity" to support Nvidia.

TSMC CEO Wei Zhejia also said on Saturday that Huang requested more wafers during this meeting. Wei Zhejia told employees at this event that TSMC expects sales to hit new highs every year in the future.
