The Japanese thriller movie "Exit 8" was officially announced to be introduced to mainland China today, and a trailer with Chinese subtitles was released simultaneously. The release date has not yet been announced.The film is adapted from the horror game of the same name released in 2023. The movie is directed by Genki Kawamura and stars Kazuya Ninomiya, Nana Komatsu, Yamato Kawachi, etc. It tells the story of a male protagonist who is trapped in the underground passage of Exit 8 of the subway. He needs to follow the rules to find out the "abnormal" phenomenon in the scene and continue to the 8th level to escape from the cycle.
Different from the bloody horror of traditional thrillers, the film focuses on psychological oppression and unknown fear.
