During the period, the host mentioned whether electric vehicles or smart driving would change the nature of Four Wheels’ business. Duan Yongping said, "If everyone does intelligent driving by themselves, it will actually be very tiring. I don't know, I'm not in this industry."
He explained that "I think it is possible that in the future everyone will use Google's solution or the solution of a certain company. In the end, everyone will be homogeneous, and everyone will have similar products, and in the end everyone will make an average profit."
In Duan Yongping’s view, “It doesn’t mean that there is no money to be made, because it is not well differentiated, so it is difficult for it to make good profits. But if everyone rolls it, you don’t know to what extent it will be rolled. It must be done before the remaining people can make money.”
He analyzed that"I don't know how many companies are making electric vehicles now. Just like when we were making game consoles, there may be hundreds of companies. In the end, there will only be a few left. Those companies are making money, but these hundreds of companies will fail."
From this, Duan Yongping concluded, "So most of the electric vehicles we see now will die. I can be sure of this. I don't know who will survive."
