Recently, the Russian robotics company Idol released the first domestic artificial intelligence humanoid robot named "Aidol". According to the official introduction, this humanoid robot is equipped with dialogue, emotion recognition and can work offline. All voice processing is completed independently on the device side.

However, during the launch of the humanoid robot,There was a display accident as soon as the robot appeared, and the robot fell to the ground.

A video shot by a reporter at the scene showed that with the background music of the movie "Rocky" playing, the robot walked to the stage under the guidance of the staff. It staggered a little at first, but after waving to the staff on site, it plunged to the ground and fell to the ground.

The two staff behind the robot rushed to help the robot, while other staff pulled out a black curtain to cover the stage. Finally, the humanoid robot was lifted off the stage.

Afterwards, Idol CEO Vitukin said,The robot fell because of a calibration issue. The robot was still in the testing phase at the time, and it was hoped that the mistake would turn into an experience.

But critics online question whether Russia's robotics industry is ready to compete internationally.

In response, the Idol development team responded,AIdol is powered by a 48V battery and can provide up to six hours of continuous operation. 77% of its components are made in Russia, with plans to increase this proportion to 93% in the future.

Moreover, the robot is equipped with 19 servo motors, allowing it to display more than a dozen basic emotions and hundreds of micro-expressions. Its silicone skin is designed to simulate human facial expressions with different hardnesses. The robot can smile, think, and be surprised, just like a human being.

Since the robot is still in the testing stage, the robot development team will next check its balance system and control software, hoping to turn this mistake into experience.
