China's first 1:1 full-scale commercial manned spacecraft test module "Traverser 1 (CYZ1)" has successfully completed its overall cabin closure recently, marking the successful conclusion of its main structure manufacturing phase. The test module was developed by Beijing Traveler Manned Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., and its overall assembly accuracy fully meets the design specifications. It is scheduled to be officially rolled off the assembly line on the 15th of this month.
In order to ensure structural integrity and flight safety, the development team implemented strict precision control during the cabin manufacturing process. All welds have passed dual ultrasonic and radiographic non-destructive testing, with a pass rate of 100%, completely eliminating defects such as cracks and pores. The matching of each cabin and component interfaces fully meets the design requirements, ensuring that the overall structure is tight and reliable.
The "Traverser 1" test module will be mainly used to verify the key technologies for non-destructive landing of commercial manned spacecraft.
At present, the capsule is ready to be rolled off the production line, and the country's first full-scale commercial manned spacecraft landing buffer test will be carried out in the future to accumulate important engineering experience for the development of my country's commercial manned spaceflight.
