Apple China issued a notice to dealers at the beginning of this month, requiring all offline authorized dealers not to cooperate with any e-commerce platform. It is strictly prohibited to display, promote or sell products on online platforms such as e-commerce, social networking, live broadcasts, etc., including one-piece delivery, hourly delivery and other services.

After verification by Apple, any violation of these regulations, including but not limited to selling goods through online channels and cross-regional channeling, will be deemed a serious breach of contract. If any violations are discovered by Apple, the authorization will be canceled directly.

In response, Apple insiders said,The notice is essentially to prevent dealers from "cross-selling" products. Apple does not participate in product price adjustments, and the final pricing still depends on each dealer.

According to the encyclopedia, cross-selling (also known as cross-selling) refers to the behavior of dealers selling products across designated areas without the authorization of the brand. Cross-selling may lead to confusion in brand prices, and dealers who sell normally will be disrupted.

The person in charge of an Apple dealer in Shenzhen revealed that the relevant regulations already existed before, but dealers have recently been required to strictly implement them again. The core purpose is to prevent disruption of the price system.
