At 15:55 on November 13th, Eastern Time, Bezos' Blue Origin "New Glenn" rocket was successfully launched and the rocket booster was recovered for the first time. At this point, Blue Origin has become the second private rocket company to successfully recycle the first stage of a rocket core after SpaceX.
After successful launch and recovery,Bezos posted a picture of the New Glenn rocket taking off on the X platform. The flames ejected from the tail are very gorgeous, and the ultra-low temperature liquid oxygen causes the water vapor on the surface of the rocket body to condense into a layer of ice, forming "white smoke".
After seeing it, Musk couldn't help but comment: "Beautiful".

In fact, after the rocket was successfully launched, Musk immediately congratulated Bezos: Congratulations to Bezos and the Blue Origin team.
It is understood that the "New Glenn" rocket adopts a two-stage design, with a diameter of 7 meters, a height of 98 meters, a fairing width of nearly 7 meters, and a take-off thrust of 1,750 tons. The first-level low-Earth orbit transport capacity is 45 tons, and the geostationary transfer orbit transport capacity exceeds 13 tons.
It is named after John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth. Blue Origin stated that this rocket is designed with the safety and redundancy required for manned flight, and will help realize its vision of benefiting the earth and paving the way to space.
