According to people familiar with the matter, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has founded a new artificial intelligence startup called "Prometheus" (Prometheus Project), and Bezos serves as the company's co-CEO.

Electric vehicle analyst Sawyer Merritt shared the news on social platform X, saying the company has secured $6.2 billion in funding, some of it from Bezos himself. The startup will develop artificial intelligence products for engineering and manufacturing in fields such as computing, aerospace and automotive. The company currently has nearly 100 employees, including researchers from Meta, OpenAI and Google DeepMind.

Regarding this new move by his old enemy Bezos, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk responded: "Haha, impossible. Copy cat."
