Porsche on Wednesday unveiled a fully electric version of its Cayenne SUV, calling it the "most powerful" production model the German sports car maker has ever produced. According to Porsche, the 2026 Cayenne EV has a maximum power of 1,139 horsepower, accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, and has a peak torque of 1,106 pound-feet. The company says it can reach a top speed of 162 mph.

The Taycan Turbo GT that previously held the title of "Porsche's King of Power on the Road" was the Taycan Turbo GT with a maximum power of 1,019 horsepower.
Porsche says ejection launch mode needs to be activated to achieve the vehicle's peak performance. In normal driving mode, the car's maximum power is 844 horsepower.
Pricing for the top-of-the-line "Turbo Electric" model starts at $163,000 - making it one of Porsche's most expensive models on sale. The less powerful standard version (maximum power of 402 horsepower and peak torque of 615 pound-feet) starts at $109,000.
