As the only large commercial aircraft company in China, COMAC recently received a new round of capital injection of up to 44 billion. We know from checking the information with the Sky Eye,COMAC has recently undergone industrial and commercial changes, and its registered capital has been increased from 50.1 billion to 94 billion, almost doubling.

This registration was supported by 8 of the 9 shareholders. Except for Sinochem Corporation, which did not increase capital, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and seven state-owned enterprises and central enterprises all participated in the capital injection. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission contributed the most, reaching 25 billion, which also increased their equity ratio in COMAC from 49.8% to 53.08%, which is of great significance.

According to the official website, COMAC was established on May 11, 2008 and is headquartered in Shanghai.

It is jointly funded and established by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Shanghai Guosheng (Group) Co., Ltd., Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Aluminum Corporation of China, China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd., and Sinochem Corporation. At the end of 2018, new shareholders were added: China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Group Co., Ltd., and China Guoxin Holdings Co., Ltd.

There are three main models listed on the official website of COMAC - C909 is the former ARJ21. It is a regional aircraft with a seating capacity of 78-97 and a range of 2225-3700 kilometers. It obtained the type certificate from the Civil Aviation Administration of China on December 30, 2014 and the production license from the Civil Aviation Administration of China on July 9, 2017. At present, the C909 aircraft has been officially put into route operation, and the market operation and sales are in good condition.

The one that has reached the threshold of large aircraft is the C919. This large passenger aircraft is my country's first self-developed jet mainline passenger aircraft with independent intellectual property rights in accordance with internationally accepted airworthiness standards. Seat class is 158-192, and the range is 4075-5555 kilometers.

The final assembly was completed on November 2, 2015, and the first flight was successfully carried out on May 5, 2017. It obtained the type certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China on September 29, 2022, the world's first aircraft was delivered on December 9, 2022, and the first commercial flight was successfully completed on May 28, 2023.

At present, the total number of C919 orders has exceeded 1,000, 26 have been delivered, and more than 30 routes have been opened.

The large aircraft that meets intercontinental flight standards is the C929, with a range of about 12,000 kilometers and a basic seating capacity of 280. The development work is progressing steadily.
