Apple recently collaborated with ISSEY MIYAKE, a well-known Japanese fashion brand, to launch a limited edition knitted accessory called iPhone Pocket for carrying iPhones. Currently, this accessory has been sold out in all countries where it is sold.

iPhone Pocket will be released simultaneously in the United States, France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom on November 14 through Apple’s official website. The US market was the first to be sold out, followed by some colors and sizes in South Korea and other countries.

The accessory is available in short and long styles and is available in a variety of colors:

  • Short color options: lemon yellow, orange, purple, pink, peacock blue, sapphire, cinnamon and black

  • Long length colorways: Sapphire, Cinnamon and Black

In the US market, the selling price range is US$149.95 to US$229.95.

iPhone Pocket design is quite diverse. Not only can it completely wrap the iPhone, but it can also peek at the screen or accommodate more items through the stretch structure. Users can hold it, strap it to their bag, or wear it directly on their body.

Apple’s official description of iPhone Pocket is as follows:

"The iPhone Pocket is made in Japan using a unique 3D knitting process, which is the result of long-term research and development by ISSEY MIYAKE. The design is inspired by the concept of 'a piece of cloth' and reinterprets the brand's iconic pleated clothing for daily practicality. During the development process, Apple's design team was fully involved and provided design and production insights."

Given its limited release status, it is unclear whether there will be restocks of iPhone Pocket in the future.
