Tesla officially announced today,Its "Oasis Project" super charging station has completed all certification work and officially became the world's largest Tesla super charging station. This charging station is located in Lost Hills, California, covering a total area of approximately 30 acres (approximately 12.14 hectares). It is located along Interstate 5, connecting the traffic arteries of San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The entire site has 168 V4 super charging piles, each with a maximum output power of 325 kilowatts, supporting ultra-fast charging.
What’s even more surprising is that this charging station is powered by 100% renewable energy and does not rely on, or even completely separate from, the public power grid.
The station is equipped with an 11-megawatt solar power generation system, including ground-based photovoltaic arrays and fully covered solar carports, with an annual power generation capacity of approximately 20 gigawatt hours, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 1,700 American households.
The generated electricity is stored in 10 sets of Tesla Megapack energy storage systems, with a total energy storage capacity of 39 MWh. Even at night or in bad weather, the charging station can still operate stably around the clock.
Considering the power supply during sudden extreme weather, the station is connected to a 1.5MW small backup power grid.
Data shows that as of November 2025,Tesla's global supercharging network has exceeded 75,000 charging piles, of which the Chinese market has more than 12,000 charging piles, covering all provincial capital cities and municipalities..
