Following Spotify and all of its competitors, YouTube is joining the year-in-review bandwagon today. The Google-owned service just announced that the YouTube Recap feature is now available, starting in North America today and will be available in other regions around the world this weekend.

Once you receive your Year in Review, you'll find it on the YouTube homepage or under the "You" tab. YouTube says the Year in Review "uniquely highlights your interests, deep dives, and highlights from this year," and of course it's all based on your 2025 viewing history.

It displays up to 12 different cards that highlight your favorite channels, interests, the evolution of your viewing habits, and even "what personality type you are based on the videos you like to watch."

If you've listened to a lot of music on YouTube this year, you'll also see your favorite artists and songs in Review, with the option to drill down into popular genres, podcasts, and even view your international music listening overview on the YouTube Music app.
